Hi, I'm Margo. I am working to live "normally" between November 2014 and November 2015. The Mayo Clinic calorie calculator says if I eat around 1900 calories and am moderately active I will maintain the weight I want to weigh. How much closer to Me can I get this year?

My Goals:
To do a year-long test of a personal theory that "IT" is not more complicated for me than eating less than 2000 calories a day and being moderately active.

My Program:
52 Week Health/Weight Loss project:

Base: ≤ 1900 calories
≥ 1250 steps a day

Start Date, Friday, 10/31/14 – End Date, Friday, 10/30/2015

52 weeks testing various changes in my diet and lifestyle activities within the base parameters to see what I can see.


Personal Information:
I am 64, will be 65 in October of 2015. I live with my husband of 25 years and 2 cats on a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay, in Maryland (western shore). We have lived here since retiring in 2005-2006.

Other Information:
I'm currently working on the UCLA Extension "Creative Nonfiction" certificate and hope to be done by summer 2017. I'd like to write about my Cardin ancestors whom I have been researching since February 2010.

Yes, we had to dive and retrieve a heavy weight as well. That I had to do with a weighted belt as well or I just floated. Go figure!

I never sunk. I took a lifesaving class @ our local pool and had to wear a weighed belt to do the required 2 lengths of the pool understeer. LOL

That was an interesting experience. I passed but ended up being the "rescue victim" for others for the other parts of the test. OY
