a moment in time...

I am a retired RN and wanting to lose weight and get more fit.
I started WW Nov. 2010 and having been losing weight slowly over the past year. I reached my 25 pound weight loss in Sept.
I need to get more active and have joined a local gym. Seems that most of my activity is walking outdoors or on the treadmill, but I have also recently bought a bike, so I will be adding that to my routine.
I am looking forward to reaching my WW goal which will be about 5 % from where I ...

I am looking forward to reaching my WW goal which will be about 5 % from where I am now. The Spring 5% challenge should really help me in doing that.
I am a lifetime WW member since 1972 and know that losing weight is the easy part...maintaining it is hard!
The last few months I have been maintaining my weight, but still have about 8 pounds to lose to get to goal. I began tracking what I eat again yesterday and plan to continue it. Also measuring and weighing my food. I also attend weekly WW meetings which I find very, very helpful!
In June, My DH and I are celebrating our 50th Wedding anniversary and I would love to be at my goal by then. This will be my motivation for my weight loss! I do want to buy new clothes for the party we are having with family and friends!
I will by March 17th commit to an exercise routine. Since I was on the fall challenge, I know that I will do more for the team than I would do for myself!

I am a retired RN, married 51 years, mother of 4 adult children, grandmother of 8 between the ages of 10 and 17.
I am a lifetime WW member who has been on and off the program since 1975. I recently lost 25 pounds in 2011 and have regained 17 of those pounds. I attribute this to drinking too much wine on a daily bases.
Since Sept. 1, I have almost stopped drinking wine completely. I am limiting my carbs and fat.
I exercise at the gym 2-3 days a week.
I had quit WW and SP when I got to goal and now see that I cannot maintain on my own. I need support and have returned back to SP to get it.

I am a mother of 4 adult children, grandmother of 8 teen-age and almost teen-ager children. I love being a grandmother! Most of my RV traveling is to Pismo Beach for 6 weeks a year.

Other Information:
I enjoy photography, photo-editing, searching the internet, reading , window shopping and hiking and just recently my return to sewing. Especially making quilts and purses for my family and friends.

Hi there My Omron (PERCY) show calories Burned.
I bought my first one from Spark and lost it when I was on a boat. I tether mine it has a place to put a small key ring in and I connect to my belt loops. I love that it does not have to be reset at midnight like so amy do. Most of all it shows the info for seven days so I can refer back immediately.
As soon as I walk 4 steps it starts to count from 5 was what I read in my instructions. I have checked it with the milestones on the rail trail. I was surprised I did not have to put in my stride length.

Thanks for the Spark Goodie! Shadow is tapping her foot, patiently waiting for me to finish Sparking so we can get our first walk of the day in. I wish we lived close enough to walk together! Then we could double date with you and Bello, lol.
