About a month in.......
My name is Marcy and I live in the northeast corner of Connecticut. I am in my mid 50's, with 2 gorgeous new GrandDollies and 1 handsome GrandLad, and my significant other is the most wonderful man in the world!! I'm enjoying my life so much, but a recent doctor's appt unveiled hypertension and high cholesterol. I thought that I was a healthy weight, but now need to drop at least 20 lbs. My Goals:
I'd like to lose 20 lbs, get my high blood pressure under control, and bring down my cholesterol numbers. If I can lose that first 20, then I will shoot for another 10, and if I'm able to take off that other 10, I will take myself on a great vacation and then reflect upon losing more!!
My Program:
Eating low fat, drinking LOTS of water, walking 30 minutes each day, weight training M/W/F

Originally from a small town in the foothills of the Adirondacks, I have lived in Connecticut's Quiet Corner for 30 years now. I guess that makes me a Connecticuter. (???)
Other Information:
Love to sew, knit,crochet, listen to country music, spend time with my Sweet Baboo, and irritate my cats. Oh, and spoil my GrandDollies!!
