I've been with SparkPeople snice 2013. i'm a 63y/o married woman working towards losing weight and adapting a more healthy lifestyle. 28 months later and l'm back to tracking again and startING to walk daily again. My Goals:
I recently had to have a cardiac pacemaker/defibrillator implanted. the doctor suggested that i lose weight and exercise to build up my strength. This is such a wonderful place to keep track of my efforts


My Program:
I'm trying to meet my goals by making better and healthier choices when eating. I've been walking almost every day and plan to join the gym



Personal Information:
I am from Tennessee origionally but moved every two years when i was a child since my father was in the Navy.
I am a retired Critical Care nurse so I have lots of time (but little motivation) for exercise.


Other Information:
Hobbies: rubber stamping and scrapbooking. I would love to hear from others who share this interest. I would love to swap cards with other card makers.

    You are successful the moment you start moving toward a worthwhile goal. Every day brings another chance to take our lives in a new direction. We need to keep an eye out for those opportunities and take advantage of them when we see them and not let them pass us by. The secret is to "live life in the present, but look to the future." It's important to think about the things we want to accomplish in the next year or two and decide what we can do today to make it easier to reach those dreams. I'm working hard to keep those words in mind as I go through each day. Keep those good days rolling by staying positive!
