A New Beginning!

Getting back to Spark people after a move across the country will help me find my best health again. The moved caused some stress, as moves do, and now I hope to regain the vitality and energy I had last time I was working on Spark. I need to lose at least ten pounds, o I am looking to June to be my goal!

My Program:
Cycle Class 1x per week
Cardio 3 days after work
Weight training 3 days per week
Yoga 1 day per week
Fun out door play- regularly!
Eat healthy and very little processed foods.

Personal Information:
I am an art teacher and I love my career! I am also a practicing artist and one day I would like to sell my work in galleries and teach workshops and college courses.

Hi and welcome to the Teachers Learning to Lose team! Losing 30 lbs and only gaining 4 back is quite an accomplishment! Maintaining is a bugaboo for all of us and something I worry about. I don't think I will be able to if I don't log my food and fitness. After reading your page, I will definitely keep it up long after I reach my final goal! That is the really great thing about this site, you learn so much from other members. You will love our team, it is an active supportive group. Come on over and get to know us!

We have a program in the Teachers Learning to Lose team called "Accountability Partners." We pair people up with someone else in the team who they will have something in common with. This team and SparkPeople.com as a whole is very large, and can be rather overwhelming. Having an accountability partner really helps you connect. Congrats on your weightloss journey. :) You are pretty much at goal already.

Throw away the scale and begin a new journey. Love your body, sunshine!

Love you for all that you are- weary, artsy, young, bright, tired, sweet, precious, happy, did I mention artsy yet?:).....

It is normal to fluctuate 5 pounds. Let it go, sunshine :) you look fabulous.
