Hi there. Thanks so much for the message. You look pretty great! Sounds like we have similar goals at this time; I'm trying to drop from 17% to 15% bfi. So I'm back at the discipline :) Actually, I'm not sure either how I have so many minutes... I noticed that some folks will have more than 120 minutes a day, which I cannot figure out since SparkPeople has never calcuated more than that for me. Even though I have days/weeks where I may do 3-4 hours in a day, I ony get credit for 2... As the month progresses, you'll see what I mean with outrageous minutes. I work hard and when I am doing more than 2 hours, it's overtraining so maybe these folks with 3000 minutes or better in a month are using moderate levels of exercise, not sure. Last week I lost access to SP at work so I have to log my time and nutrion stuff manually during the day and enter them electronically in the evenings. I am also a soccer coach so I don't have time every evening available to login. As a result, I have had to enter the past 3-4 days. Best of luck to you in your fitness competition next year. I'd love to go watch...mabe I will just plan on doing that... I hope we stay in touch. Thanks again, Di` 2183 days ago
Thanks for visiting my spark page! I workout at the gym for about a month or so then switch over to outdoors for about another month, thus alernating every month or so. However this time I am stuck at the Gym for quite some time as it is too hot outside. I usually work out in the mornings at 5.00 am to avoid the heat. Kinda lazy to get up that early hence am at the gym.
Thanks for stopping by. I had a friend who did the Universe Competition in Miami this year. She placed 4th. Mine was an NPC Competition, more on the athletic side than the Universe one I believe. I'm not planning to do another one, was just a goal to accomplish. I enjoy food too much! Ha ha! But if you're going to do one, I definitely wish you the best! Since you're in Westchase, you may want to check out Body Tech, which is right at the corner of Countryway and RaceTrack (by the 7-11) as they run a serious organization of competitors. Tim Gardner runs it and he is awesome. They do bootcamps there at least once a month. If I was going to compete regularly I would have joined his group - they compete to win! www.bodytechonline.com if you want to check it out! Love to keep in touch! - Tia 2183 days ago
