My Goals:
I am working toward being physically, mentally and spirtually fit. I would like to be able to gain more mobility on my right side. I would like to be able to reach my feet. I would like to be stronger in my upper body and more flexible in general.

My Program:
I am working with a nutrionist, a stength training expert and I am monitoring my goals through Sparkpeople.

Personal Information:
I am from Ohio. I moved to Algonquin, Illinois January 2006. I live with my daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandchildren.



I have two daughters, both have 3 children . My youngest daughter still lives in Ohio.



I like it here and plan on staying in Illinois.

Other Information:
I was not aware of the shape my body was in until I started to work with SparkPeople. Once I began to monitor the food I was consuming, I began to understand how poorly I was eating. In additon, I thought I was fairly active but I was not active in the manner that would cultivate heathiness.



My progress is slow but steady. I know I am going to achieve my goals.

WOW, you two year anniversary is coming up, so I know you will renew your goals for a healthy lifestyle. YOU CAN DO THIS. Stay with it.
If you are an emotional eater, you would enjoy reading "SHRINK YOURSELF" by ROGER GOULD, M.D. I've gotten so much out of reading the book as he says when we get stressed we ruin the diet by eating to deal with the emotions.
He has three interviews at www.youtube.com if you want to know more about him. ROGER GOULD is Head of Psychology at UCLA Medical Center.

I am new to sparkpeople and I am encouraged to see that your goal is to get fit. I was once fit but I am trying my best not to think about the past and just move forward. I love the fact that there is a forum that unites us and when I am walking alone, I will imagine I have my sisters walking right beside me.
