I'm a mom of three and a full time grad student. Running is my outlet, my stress management tool, my go-to form of excercise! I've done 3 half marathons and many 5Ks, but trail running with friends through the summer is my favorite kind of running.
Unfortunately, I suffered a stress fracture in my right foot at Thanksgiving (out on a run), so I am off running and any other impact sports until the middle of January. I don't like swimming, but I'm going to try to make the best of it and keep my cardio fitness up so that when I get clearance to run, I won't be starting over completely!
Next half I'd like to run is in March. We'll see if I'm able to get in shape soon enough!
