Thanks for inquiring about my progress. I lost a pound and am in some festivities, so I have gained it back. I planned on losing two pounds this April! I still can.
I am getting more into the zig-zag diet plan--- remembering about eating every three hours, only as much as I think will carry me through those hours' activities.
And I am more into the daily calories, and reducing simple carbs, than I am into getting the best mix of macro-nutrients. I feel good with that mix, but can't always afford the food to get it. I do aim for at least 40 grams of protein daily and to keep fats under 60 grams a day. Plenty of vegans follow those guidelines, as I did for a few years.
I have great northern beans and millet on hand and the wild greens are growing nicely now--plus I bought several bunches of parsley and I have three servings of cooked meat in the freezer.
I really want to get a scooter. Or, I really want to have a bicycle fixed up that I can use often. I really want to get my student loan paid off. Oh, well. I really do have some goals and health is key to other goals. 2012 days ago
