Get me off this plateau before I jump!

I have been trying to lose weight for what feels like my entire life. I recall one time in my mid twenties when I was actually at a decent weight. Other than that I'v been fighting a losing battle. 2 years ago I lost a little weight but have been unable to move past the 180s since then. I am determined to know what 160 something feels like

My Goals:
I would like to lose 25 pounds to start and then who knows! The world will be my oyster!

I am trying to eat whole foods and exercise some portion control. I also need to lay off the red wine which seems to be my nemesis for weight loss.

Welcome to sparks. You have come to the right place for reaching your health and weight loss goals.

I see you have already joined some teams, this is great because you will find the teams are built on hobbies/interest, weight goals, or a more personal variety (like thyroid issues). The teams are a great source of encouragement and information.

Weight loss and developing a healthy lifestyle takes time and patience, but with these you will be successful. I wish you the best meeting your goals.
