Running out of Excuses

It's time to change. I'm a 21 year old college student... and I want to learn new habits that will last a lifetime. If I am living my life as an acceptable sacrifice to God, then I need to work on the package that that life comes in!

I want to learn how to believe in myself and my capacity for change and growth.

I want to learn how to run... and how to love running!

I refuse to miss out on the dance because I'm too busy sitting on the couch.

I'm stubborn.

My Goals:
I want to be able to run for thirty minutes without stopping.

I want to feel comfortable in my clothes... even bathing suits!

I wanna be smokin' for my trip to Ireland this June with my best friend :)

My Program:
Lil' Miss StarFarm10 and I are headed on an adventure to jump off of our couches and onto a 10k track to be fit and basically awesome. We're also counting calories along the way :)

Personal Information:
Galatians 2:20

"My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (NLT)

Other Information:
Hebrews 12:11-13
“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.”

1 Corinthians 9:25-27
“All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.” (NLT)
