SparkPeople has been a great motivation tool. I joined SparkPeople in January 2010 but I didn't really start using it until August 1, 2010, to me that's my anniversary date.

When I started in August 2010 I weighted in at an unhealthy 270 lbs and eight months later (May 2010) I weight in at a healthier 199 lbs. Even at 199 lbs I don't look like I weight almost 200lbs. I think that's because I have a lot more muscle mass. I'm not done yet. I still want to lose another 30lbs to be ...

When I am having a bad day with my goals I log on and read/interact with other users. It also reminds me I'm not alone in my journey and with my everyday struggles. Above all I know if I can do it, you can do it too.

I feel very blessed to be able to encourge and inspire others with my success.

Don't wait until tomorrow, change starts right now in this very moment. With the next bite and the next step.

I also met my partner through Sparkpeople and together we continue to live a healthy lifestyle and workout together. It is important to us that we teach our children to be healthy and active.

My Program:
To workout more, eat less.

Training for a marathon by running 4x a week and cross training with Bodypump 2x a week.

Due to a newly discovered gluten intolerance, I am eating a gluten free diet.
