Married and needing to get healthy.

I just got married and then I turned 25. This was not how much I wanted to weigh. With winter coming on, now is the time to do some introspection and reassesment of my health. At my largest I was 270. After I ended my relationsip with my ex I did the "starvation" diet and got down to 235. Slowly over the last 2 years I gained 15lbs back. Now I just married the most wonderful man in the world and I want to be with him as long as possible. That means that I need to be healthy. So that's ...

At my largest I was 270. After I ended my relationsip with my ex I did the "starvation" diet and got down to 235. Slowly over the last 2 years I gained 15lbs back. Now I just married the most wonderful man in the world and I want to be with him as long as possible. That means that I need to be healthy. So that's what I'm doing. I'm getty healthy so I get to have the long life I deserve.

My husband and I love to go swimming in the lake. Next summer I want to have his friends over to our lake home and wear a swimsuit without feeling shy about it at all. If I could do that, I would feel success ful. Right now there are lumps in places that there shouldn't be .

I want to be a mom one day. When I get pregnant I want to be nothing but belly and boobs! If I want my child to be rased with healthy habits I need to have them myself. I have to focus on being the best woman I can be.

Someone once told me that I have to "practice who I want to become". It has stuck with me. If I want to be a fit, energetic mother, I need to be a fit and energetic wife, which means NOW is the time to change my lifestyle. Why? Because I deserve it.

I hope everything is ok. Are you drained due to weight loss, or is it more? When stress is around and times are tough it is so hard to stay focused. Always here to help. Hope you are having an ok weekend

I read your post on barriers, in regards to your husband, man do I feel you a 100%. We're in this together. I'm just hoping if I can ever adapt a healthy lifestyle somehow he will fall in; but I would love to have him by my side, eating healthy dishes, biking and long walks .. but it's been this way for 3 years and I'm not sure it will change, then again my habits haven't changed either.
