Lose the Gut!

I have been exercising regularly and trying to not be TOO bad when it comes to food, but I cannot lose this gut (belly, to those who may not know what a gut is) I've gained in the last couple of years....that is my goal, before it's irreversible! I was invited to join by a good friend who also struggles, so we can support each other and achieve our goals!!

Update for September 2013: I've been following the Weight Watchers program since earlier this year and since early May have lost over 20 pounds, finally!! The exercise is mostly walking with the occasional DVD but I shoot for a couple of hours a week at least (some weeks better than others in that department). PROGRESS!

My Program:
Making sure I drink my water, track my food intake (Portion Control!!) and increase my exercise time and level.



Personal Information:
I'm a New Yorker my whole life (go Yankees!). I have two grown children, and have worked full time my entire adult life.

I never had a serious weight problem but especially after having children, the pounds have creeped up on me over the years. I do believe that it gets harder to lose the older you get, but I'm trying!!

Other Information:
I try to keep involved with my teams as it helps to have some dialogue and feedback (and support!) from the other members.
