I am married, my husband and I are both diabetic and have sleep apnea. We have 9 kids between us and currently have 5 grandkids. I am struggling with lots of health issues recently (diabetic, sleep apnea, overwieght, stabbing pain in lower right leg with pins and needle sensations, pain shooting through leg when touching just below the knee, bulging discs in lower back) needless to say I have several issues which make it difficult to do exercises to help with the weightloss program.

LOOKING FORWARD TO 2010:
Over the last 13 months I have lost 54 pounds. I have dropped at least 2 pant sizes and am wearing pants that I haven't warn since sometime in 2006. The pants that I was wearing are so big that they almost fall off me and I can take them off without unbuckling them. I have noticed that my fasting blood sugar numbers have decreased which is a good thing and hopefully can decrease the amount of medicine I am taking for my diabetes. January 2010 weight and measurements are as follows:

waist: 44"
hips: 51.6"
neck: 15.5"

My Goals:
I WANT TO LOOSE WEIGHT

My goals for 2010:
1. Tto lose 5-8 pounds a month
2. To get my BMI within the healthy range.
3. To add strength and cardio exercises to by routine.

GET SOME MEDICAL ISSUES UNDER CONTROL

My Program:
I am watching my nutrition and doing some light exercises and stretching due to other health issues with my back.

I am planning to add some strength and cardio to my routing bassed on what I can handle with my back issues.

Personal Information:
I live in Nebraska with my husband and our youngest daughter. We have 8 other children all living in Nebraska except my oldest son living in Iowa and my youngest son in school at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. 5 of the boys are married.
