I joined Sparkpeople in Jan. and so far I have lost 30 lbs! I have had some help from a friend and dropped 5 pounds in one week just from inreased activety!
I have struggled all my life with weight, I weighed 120 when I was 11 and remember being shocked and not knowing what to do about it. My biggest issue is overeating and trying to learn to control it. I am a Christain and I believe God will help me with this, but I also believe that I need to help myself as well.
I also want to lose weight to be a good example for my children, my 6 year old daughter is developing a weight problem. I hope with her watching me exersice it will encourage her to do so as well.

My Program:
I am upping the cardio right now. I'm not doing a specific program at the moment. I am planning on doing the couch 2 5k as soon as I can build up a little more stamina and I'm bike riding to do it. It may only be about a 8 minute ride at a time done twice a day. Everyone starts somewhere. One doesn't start of running 5 miles or riding a bike for 30 min. straight.
