My family and I are serving the Lord in Wittenberg, Germany. We are active in starting new churches in the former Soviet Union.
Though we live an active, fairly healthy lifestyle, I have a lot of embedded attitudes towards food and eating from my youth that I need to overcome in order to be healthy and keep the weight off. I have watched as unhealthy lifestyles have robbed my children of their grandparents and I don't want to do that to my children and grandchildren.

I am revisiting my goals from the past that aren't quite habits -

1. Being faithful to take my vitamins every day. Without them, I don't get the magnesium or Vit D that I need.

2. Get my cuddle time in daily with my kids. When they grow up, they won't remember how much I weighed nearly as much as they will remember how much time we spent together.

3. For the next 8 weeks, I will give 100% compliance to the MyLine eating plan.

4. I will attend the gym at least twice a week and put money in the piggy band each time that I do so that I will have some money set aside to buy new clothes at the end of summer.

A couple of years ago, I lost weight and got down to 68 Kilo. I want to be there again soon.

My Program:
My husband and I have joined the local fitness center.
I will drink 2-3 liters of water a day.
I will be following the Trim Healthy Mama eating plan and have just started learning about T-Tapp.



Personal Information:
I grew up in small-town Ohio, married a guy from small-town Iowa and moved to Germany. We now live just south of Berlin in Wittenberg, the hometown of Martin Luther the Reformer. We are enjoying the adventure.


Other Information:
I just read a book entitled, "How to be a Kraut". It is a "must-read" for anyone moving to Germany. Hilarious!

    Thank you for the goodie! I am on high alert for a few days, not to fall of the wagon, because my 12-week "Biggest Loser Challenge" has just ended. It was very productive and motivating; I lost 20 pounds and 6 total inches. Now I am determined not to slump just because that structure and competition is missing. I am focusing on 2 goals with Conserv. Chr. Ladies' Tea Time team (8 cups water, which I tend to forget/procrastinate if it's not on a challenge count) and taking my morning & evening vitamings, which is a habit I simply must establish now.

    I am excited to hear about your specfic goal, and I will definitely keep praying for you and for your family.
