At the end of the triathlon May 7, 2011!
"The only thing that is constant is change." I don't know who said this, and I'm too lazy to look it up, but ain't it the truth?
After twenty years of marriage, my husband and I have separated for the third and, by my desire, final time. Yet another major change in my life. I intend to create the life for myself that I have always wanted, and have continued to make excuses for not having. One of those excuses has been said husband.
By making this change, I have proven to myself that I have the will, and the power to be a success! I can succeed at anything that I put my mind to, and I have finally made that ME!
This is it...time to set NEW goals...
1. Short-term: Make it to Onederland by 06/10/2011
2. Medium-term: I've done a sprint triathlon (twice!). Now it's time to RUN a 5K! I had to do the 5K in the tri, but I didn't RUN, I walked. Middle of August sounds like good planning!
3. Long-term: 80 pounds down by 05/01/2012!
Low-Carbing it. I've had great success in the past, just didn't follow through. Now I'm older and wiser. Training to RUN in a 5K will help me in the exercise portion of the program.
Saint Peter, Minnesota. Single mother of three boys, ages 19, 16 and 2. I work two jobs and have the making excuses thing down to a science. That's all got to change!
