Back again, starting over!

Hi, I have 2 adorable little girls and it took me 3 years to lose my weight the first time. So far, I am doing a lot better this time around, though! I am a full year ahead of myself vs my 1st pregnancy. My 1st daughter was 2 when I was at the weight I am now and my 2nd daughter is only a year! Hi, I have 2 adorable little girls and it took me 3 years to lose my weight the first time. So far, I am doing a lot better this time around, though! I am a full year ahead of myself vs my 1st pregnancy. My 1st daughter was 2 when I was at the weight I am now and my 2nd daughter is only a year! My new goal is to be a size 2 dress (which I already own) by May 21, 2011. As of August 7, 2010 I am a size 9. I know I can do this because in the past year using Sparkpeople I have lost 60 pounds. I am 5'2" and a size 2 is very healthy.

Since I have kids I want to be the best role model I can be. This means I want to live healthy, eat clean, exercise, and cook often. Looking good has, in the past, been my main motivation. I don't want this to rub off on my children and them to grow up thinking looks are more important than their health. I want them to understand how important it is to be healthy, not thin.

I have struggled with being overweight since I was 7. My weight has been up and down ever since. I remember very vividly what it feels like to be the last picked in PE. I remember what it feels like to be picked on and called "fatso" and it was so very painful. It caused many problem in my teens and early 20s, now in the 30s is the first time I can say that every day I am healthy.

Update- 4/3/2011

Well, there is no way I will meet my goal of size 2 by May 21. I stopped Sparking and exercising and gained 30 pounds. I am dusting myself off and hopping back in now. New goal TBD

****UPDATE- 12/28/2012- Well, I'm on the upswing again and gotta get back to a healthy weight. I don't feel healthy and the weight is creeping back really fast!*****

4/10/2013- My kids are growing up fast. My oldest is about to turn 8 and the baby in all my pictures is 4. I'm not as big as I was after my 2nd was born and I want to continue on the everlasting journey of getting to a weight that is both healthy and I feel comfortable at.
I'm on here yet again and am taking the baby steps I took in the beginning to get my momentum going again.

Every day on track- Streaming movie of my choice on Netflix

Every month- put aside $100 to use for whatever i want
- less than 5 pounds- Go to a movie with my 4 year old
- more than 5 pounds- New Wii game

When I reach 25- Buy a recumbent bike (Bought ChaLEAN EXTREME)

When I reach 50- Get a keratin treatment to straighten my hair &
Subscription to Self and another mag of choice (need to do!)

When I reach 75-
Help others get fit with the tools I have used and found to be effective.

Goal- Take the money saved up and go to where ever I want!

just want to stop by and say hi, i been gone for a while and just was thinking about you. from your page it seem like you are doing well and have things under control for the most part.
