Im recomitting to fitness and health. Having spent last year in a stressful blur, Im ready to bring it back to me.

My goal is to run my second half marathon in April this year. An all women's event with a group of women I know. I am very excited.


I started my weight loss journey in March 2007 when I went from 147 size 8/10 to 132/133 size 4.

Approaching this from a different angle...I want to be the best me i can be!!! I want to be strong and whole and push my body in ways I didn't know I could. If the scale moves fabulous but if not I know that my body is capable and beautiful and can perform in ways I never dreamed possible. So new attitude. For the first time in my life...I feel like an athlete, and I'm going to own it!

A couple of health hiccups along the way I am working through...slow and steady no more excuses. Getting fit while still taking care of myself. I'm set to run a 10 mile race on Aug. 2 and a 1/2 marathon on Oct. 11!!!!

Health in body and mind and being the best I can be. Organize my life on so many levels. I am not anyone else just myself. The back of one of my kid's organic no sugar added juice boxes exuded some brilliance that I am taking to heart:
