Hey, I am Matt, and I joined SparkPeople to see if it could be a useful tool in my weight loss journey, and so far it has. Just being able to track my calories and workouts provide a sense of accountability to myself.

I am 22, and getting married to my amazing fiance in less than a year, and I owe it to myself and to her to lose this weight. I have tried other crash diets in the past, only to gain it all back and more. Now, I am looking for a complete lifestyle change, instead of just a diet.

I really enjoy all sports (especially football), hanging out with friends, watching movies, listening to music, and playing video games.

My Goals:
I would like to change my lifestyle and habits so that I can live a long and healthy future. In making these changes, I would like to get down to at least 235 lbs. My first tiered goals are to get to 350 lbs, 300 lbs, 275 lbs, 250 lbs, and then 235 lbs. After I reach that, I will see where I want to go from there!


My Program:
I am using the nutrition tracker to keep track of the calories that I eat daily, and trying to eat the recommended calories. I am working out for at least 30 minutes for at least 5 days per week. I am trying to change the types of food that I eat, and trying to not eat out as much as possible.



Personal Information:
I am 22 years old from the Omaha, NE metro area. I am engaged to my girlfriend of over 7 years (high school sweethearts) and getting married in less than a year. I am finishing up my last year in school and working at the same time. I really enjoy all sports (especially football), hanging out with friends, watching movies, listening to music, and playing video games.

    Today SQUEEZE IT IN. Fit some exercise into your daily routine-try some counter push ups, squats while empty dishwasher, heel lifts or leg circles while standing in line. Lets keep those muscles awake and working for us.
