I just turned 48 and that number hit me hard. I had hoped to be farther in my journey and as of yet I'm sitting still. So it is time to wake up and get up. So more action is what is needed. I know what to do now I just have to do it.

Hey there, girl. Thanks for the comment on my blog.
Fresh starts all around, I say! I know I don't want to continue feeling like I'm feeling now, while watching myself get bigger and bigger!! NOT an option!!
I just have to prioritize. Or at least do a better job of it. I can't help what is going on with Alexis any more than I already do, so I have to remember that I can handle the situation better if I were healthier and feeling better.
We are both stressed and snappish with each other and neither one of us like that. It's time to turn things around.
She has her fifteen year old cousin spending the night tonight, and they are in Alexis' room giggling their heads off...she needed that. So -- I am going to make a meal plan and grocery list for the week. Maybe If I plan every single thing I'll put in my mouth in a day instead of just planning dinner, it would work better. Here goes anyway. Time to get back on the wagon and make this work!!
We can do this. I know we can. We just have to remember to make ourselves and our health a priority.

Good job! I am really proud of you for following your program! The author of the Beck Dieting Solutions suggests you write why you want to lose weight on index cards and carry them, post them even use as a screen saver. I wrote mine out ( 14) and carry with me. Number 1 reason besides wanting to be healthy is to feel happier when I look in the mirror.

Train your brain to THINK like a thin person!

Me again! Eating out is hard especially when you go with a group. Placing the cheese on the side is a good idea.

Have you heard about the Beck Diet Solution book? If not, look up SP team by the same name and be ready to be inspired! I started the book today and already feeling like a winner!

Hard to break the old habit of eating when ever I want to, but I am going to be thin!
