Lost my way but I want to find it again!

This is my fourth time getting back on Sparks. I had dissapeared while pregnant because truthfully I let myself indulge in everything I wanted. But I'm back because Sparkpeople has worked for me everytime. I don't follow everything to a t but I especially use the calorie counter to atleast monitor my eating even if I don't eat what they say to eat. I really hope to be patient and consistent and remind myself that each time I have succeded but it took time and hard work.

My Goals:
To loose the baby weight from my newest addittion. My third little angel.

My Program:
Well pretty much just adjusting and implementing different things that I have learn throughout this journey. Different diets and different exercise programs.

Personal Information:
Just turned 29 and have a new baby girl and want to loose the baby weight. But it's not easy with 2 kids 1 new born and a mother who cooks deliscious but fattening Mexican food.

Other Information:
I love to read, dance, listen to music, play volleyball, craft, blog and read blogs, decorate being a MOM!

Hey Maki, My husband isn't loving the new life change at all.
My husband is the type of guy who has to see the big picture 1st.
Changing his meds for the 4th time was the big picture and the hell to da naw with us. So, I said. I'm going to help you beat this. Ginny Pig I think not, because they don't want to tell my husband. Change your diet. He's far from fat. He's 6 foot 220 pounds, and he can stand to drop that 20 and keep it at 200, but my husband has been like 170-190 most of his adult life, and when he started to get the middle age spread. He's 37 just turned. He started to embrace that JUNK. I'm like hello! You can stand to lose the cancer belly attack. He goes huh. I show him the info on big bellies, and he goes. UGH!
I honestly believe my husband is keeping the weight, because he has a 38-40" waist, and at It's Fashions. I don't know if you have one where you are at, but he likes to shop there and the mark downs are always his run too, and the sizes in 34-36 are never there. The brotha put on weight so he can get the mark down. Isn't that crazy... UGH! but I think we have great hubbies. My husband can drop weight at a drop of a hat if he would try. He just don't. Ugh! Thanks for the comment on my blog. We are mothers. We make milk, we give birth, we carry and store more fat for that role. Men get to the easy genes. We get the F-ed up ones.. Like "TOM" and LABOR.. UGH!

Hey, I'm glad you added me as a friend. I love your comment and I'm adding you too. Girl, we got to keep those family members in check on what we are doing for ourselves. We aren't doing this for "them" we are doing this for us and our children. Most imporantly, for those kids of ours. We need to be here you know. That's why this is so important to us, but fam don't get it. They don't get it at all. Girl, my cousin. I had to take both of them to the doctor her and her uncle. Well, check this out. We went to krogers, and I got some healthy snacks. Her uncle paid for them. You know I had to get my snacks, and I paid for my own veggies since he wanted to do something nice for me. I said here Keith you can get my snacks. I got spainch, celery and salad mix. She saw my yogurt rice cake bites, and asked did I open them up; because she wants to start eating healthier. I said sure. I bust them open, I didn't want too - but I did, and she said something they don't taste bad. I go. Girl, you all think the good stuff is bad for you. She goes I can see myself eating that. I had blue chips as well. The girl was curling her nose up at my blue chips, and then asked for one of those too. I said. I'm not going to bust the bag open on these just so you can taste. I'm telling you. She goes, I want to start eating healhy. Don't taste test my stuff -shoot. Girl, she is full of it. I mean full. Her uncle said. Everytime she passes by a Mc'D's she got to stop and get something from there. We passed by 4 of them. If he would have told me to swing through the drive thur she would have flipped. Ooo-Ooo Mc'D's.. I'm telling you.. That girl is hooked on bad food, and had the "boobs" to talk to me about Dr. Oz today. UGH!

Oh I love some meatloaf!

You can make it any way you want! My variation involves getting out my old handcranked grater and a tub of veggies. I grate parsnips, carrots, bell pepper, onions, mushrooms, cauliflower, and what ever else I have on hand. I add that to an egg and some lean ground meat. Sometimes I use salsa, sometimes I use terriyaki sauce or barbecue sauce.

Meatloaf is always an experiment of sorts at my house!

Hey honeybear! Thanks for the comment on my page, yep life has been throwing some curveballs and some lowblows, but it's okay.We will make it through. I am not on the spark as much as I once was, since 1) I have started my Masters program and it seems I am always doing homework or reading, 2) I signed up for weightwathchers so I do all of my food logging there, but I admit I love the community setup of spark better so I still stop through here at least once every couple of days to get my spark on and 3) I am still battling the depression and trying to get through the grief of losing my brother so sometimes I am just like blah and don't want to deal with anyone.
I wish you luck on getting into your new place by the end of this month and I know you can get back on track no worries.
