Hi again,
just saw your little note re the Chinese dinner.
Well this happens to me often and then I get on my stationery bike (not necessarily straight away) and peddle on low for 20 minutes. Even though I have a full gym in my home I find that the bike is a quick and easy calorie burner. You can loose about 200 calories.
Now wipe those tears.

hello from a very new member.
Only joined today and must say that I am very impressed with this site.
I have looked at a few (and tried some) but I think this is the o ne.

Im still finding my way around the site, but I have literally been on all day
and really must pull myself away from it and attend to other things.
Good luck.
Kay

PS. I live on the Mid Nth Coast of NSW and it will be nice to talk to others
who are also from Australia.

Marian,

Thanks for your comments! I am a nurse. I transport sick babies for our NICU, amongst other duties. So a small part of my job involves helicopter transports. So we weigh in quarterly--fully dressed with pockets full of tools and in the winter, with coats and boots. There is a top number of 220 pounds. It has to do with weights and balances on the helicopter--but it is humbling!

Of course, when I was young and thin, we did not have weigh ins. Now I am old and fat and have them!! go figure!

Best to you! I am loving having a "pen pal/e-mail pal" from Australia! emoticon

I know what you mean about the WII, I have the Fit Plus and having to listen to that poor little girl wince in pain as I step on is sad! Oh, and watching her just "fluff" right up is enough to make you sigh.... emoticon but I figure if we just keep pluggin' we'll end up in the best place! Thank you for making me a friend!
