I am the only one in control of ME!
After 25 years of gaining my freshman 15 (or so it seemed) I finally put down the candy bag and laced up the sneakers. After getting as high as 336, I now weight 235. That is 101 lbs lower than my highest weight and I did it without surgery, magic pills, or yucky shakes. I track my food daily and excercise 4-5 days a week - I am a believer in calories in vs. calories out. I owe a lot of my success to Sparkpeople and I will be forever thankful that I stumbled upon their FREE food and fitness ...

My Goals:
I want to be healthy again! I want to: shop anywhere in the mall (getting there) sit in a booth at a restaurant without worry (check) I would like to enjoy physical activity (check)
My Program:
Tracking calories, fat, and carbs to only take in what my body actually needs. I am enjoying finding new ways to prepare low fat, healthy meals. ZUMBA twice a week and running - usually 3+ miles 2 times a week (or more especially if I don't make it to ZUMBA.)
