Striving Again

My name is Margie. I live in Palisade, CO. I am retired but still work part time. I have gotten lazy over the last five years and my weight has crept up each year during the winter holidays. I have gotten into bad eating habits again and have gotten out of my regular exercise routine. I am ready to get back into shape.

My Goals:
My first goal is to lose 15 pounds then to set a new goal to lose a few more. I want to get back into better physical shape by having a consistent exercise routine.

My Program:
I am using the nutrition and fitness trackers so I can see my progress as I improve.

Personal Information:
I am originally from Denver, CO but have lived in lots of other states during my growing up years and my career. I moved back to Colorado 11 years ago. I love living on the western slope where it is less congested.

Other Information:
I am married and also have one dog. I have two grown children that live in another state.

How are you doing on your New Years resolutions. I'm doing pretty good. I joined the Jan. Jumpstart Challenge too. The exercise the first week, especially the videos were bad enough but now were supposed to add in another video 2 times :-(. I re-read what we are supposed to be doing for cardio and found out that I only have to do 10 min. a day instead of 30.

How are your push ups coming? I missed a couple of days but was still able to add another one today. I just finished my ST and am sweaty and tired. Wonderful feeling.

How is your exercising going? I don't have problems with exercising but I sure do with snacking. If I didn't like sweets, I would have it made.
