Wow! to you! I have been MIA myself. I was still keeping up with working out and goal setting but I just wasn't tracking it. I'm trying to get back into tracking my food and workouts on here. I miss SP!! Hopefully we can help keep each other on track.
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your message. Oh my goodness, those rolled eyes and negative comments drive me crazy also. I get asked a lot "why am I dieting or working out"...I just like really.....I want to be healthy and I like the way it make me look and feel. I always tell people there is always room to grow (I think) or improve. Working out and being/staying healthy is not just for looks ( as some people think). It teaches you things. Like for instance "discipline." Do you think you can go a whole week w/o eating something you like, if you didn't have discipline. Once you have discipline you can achieve anything. If people would just think about, it takes discipline to not curse, or control your temper in certain situations. I replace the negative comments with the positive ones I get from my husband or ppl who see me working out (as they are doing the same). After all that, the negative comments doesn't even exist anymore lol.
Your right, I have to constantly explain myself when I use the word 'diet.' I always tell ppl that I clean my diet up and watch what I eat. I cut back on things i know will......have a negative effect in the long run. I am proud of you for sticking to your guns and not letting the negative comments bring you down. As long as you keep that mindset and that level of focus, you'll be good. Those 5 - 10 lbs will be gone in no time. I'm so excited for you and can't wait to see your results!!!

I know you said you don't have much weight to loose but what you feel comfortable with is your decision. Don't let anyone talk you out of reaching your goal. I had that happen to me when I started loosing the last Feb (2011). I just ignored the rude (not meant to be but were) comments and kept going. Now, I'm at a state of maintance. I'm not really trying to loose anything but I want to keep everything tight lol. I am watching what I eat (cleaning the diet up) and working out 6 days a week. I'm loving every bit of it.
