Hi, pretty new to Sparks here, and think it's helping a great deal. sItarted 5 weeks ago at 187 pounds and am down to 174.4; my goal weight is in phases, 175, 172, and then 168-169 with maintenance, of course. What makes losing weight difficult for me: Lack of exercise, too many carbohydrates, and mostly, poor timing of meals--like not eating during the day!

I enjoy kayaking, reading, music (classic jazz, blues, R&B, rock), old movies, visiting the East Coast, my job (mostly), ...

Thank you for reading my blog post on being sedentary. I try to get up for at least five minutes for every hour I'm sitting so that my disk don't become compressed. I can't afford to have back problems.

Thanks for my spark goodie! Unfortunately, I don't track my fitness anymore nor do I work on getting a lot of spark points. Just logging on and tracking my nutrition is good enough for me!
