Hi! I joined a couple of weeks ago and started my diet about a week before that. It is now September 26 by the way! I am committed to losing some weight to look and feel better. I have been pretty good about exercise but pretty bad about healthy eating habits. I think SparkPeople is going to make a difference. I came across the program while investigating some programs like Slim4Life and LA Weightloss, which I decided were not for me. I have lost 7 pounds in the last 3 weeks and am very happy! Now I just need to keep going. I want to lose 20 more pounds. One of my motivations is a cruise that I am going on in November. Hopefully I will be a ways further towards my goal by then.

My Goals:
My short term goal is to lose some weight for a cruise that I am going on in November. I will still need to lose more after that (and partially because of the cruise!) and then need to keep it off. I want to get to 120 pounds.

My Program:
Pretty simple - eat less and exercise more! I have been tracking my calories using a program called CalorieKing, but I do track my exercise on SparkPeople. Keeping track of calories is key for me.

Your cruise sounds great! I want to do that someday when the kids are older! We are taking a Disney Eastern Carribean with the kids. So not a "relaxing" vacation... but as relaxing as it gets with 2 little ones!

Good luck with your weight loss and your cruise! When are you going? We are going the week after Thanksgiving. We actually leave the day after Thanksgiving. I'm really excited, I can't wait!
