Hopeful Progression

I've recently made the decision to make some positive changes in my life. First and foremost is my health.
I'm almost 30, and fairly overweight. Obese by most charts -- oh, who am I kidding... by ALL charts.
I've been a big girl pretty much all of my life, and more recently, I've fallen off the deep end. I've gone through some pretty stressful times in my life, and fallen into a pretty deep-seeded depression, but I've found some ambition and want and need to make some positive ...

I'm almost 30, and fairly overweight. Obese by most charts -- oh, who am I kidding... by ALL charts.
I've been a big girl pretty much all of my life, and more recently, I've fallen off the deep end. I've gone through some pretty stressful times in my life, and fallen into a pretty deep-seeded depression, but I've found some ambition and want and need to make some positive change in my life.
I need help though, or a good constant push. Support is what I'm hoping for and what I believe I need to reach and maintain my goals in life.
I want to be healthy... I want to feel good about all aspects of my life. I want to be optimistic again.
I'm making my way there.... let's just hope I can stick with it.

My Goals:
To be healthier. Physically, mentally, and emotionally.

If you need a number, a good 100lbs is my goal. I don't have a firm weight goal as I'm currently uncertain of my actual weight. I'm heading to the doctor this week, and I'll be able to better gauge where I stand after that.

I want to be comfortable with myself again. I've lost touch of that.

I want to be able to walk into any clothing store and be able to wear something I like, even if it's the XL size.

I want to see myself in photos and not cringe anymore.

My Program:
I'm starting to become active again. Starting out slow with almost daily walks. Some much longer than others... Once I'm feeling like progression is beginning, I'd like to maybe look into activities which would be more demanding and on a more consistent schedule.

I'm much more aware of caloric values, and what I'm taking in. I'm conscious of the fact that I need to be monitoring this, and maybe scaling back a bit where I can -- watching sugar and carb levels.
