Hi,

My name is Maryanne and I live in Dedham, MA. I was born and raised in Boston and I have a love/hate relationship with both food and exercise. I've spent the better part of my life on all sorts of diets. I had success with Weight Watchers in the past but the last 12 times I joined I just didn't seem to get anywhere.

I have removed all of the updates I had listed here over the past 5 years. They are just that............in the past. I did great and lost a lot of weight but as 2015 starts, I find that I to am starting from scratch. It's a new year and a new beginning for me.

February 2016 - Did ok in 2015 and ended the year with a loss of 15-16 lbs. Now I'm already a month into 2016 so time to get moving and continue on this road to good health. I just need to push myself and get back into the exercising and then it can all come together. The goal is to end this year with a 20 lb loss! It can be done!

Update December 2016 - Well it wasn't done. Still hanging in there and moving forward but really no loss to talk about. No gain either so grateful for that.

As this year comes to a close I am healthier than I've been as well as more active. I hope to carry these changes forward into 2017 and continue to work on ME.

2017 UPDATE!!!!!! TODAY I HIT MY WEIGHT LOSS GOAL! I could not be happier and plan to continue moving forward in this new direction.

2018 UPDATE: Well here it is January 25, 2018. This coming Saturday (if all goes well) I will become a lifetime member of Weight Watchers. I have successfully lost close to 40 lbs and been maintaining for 5 weeks. I still want to potentially drop another 10 lbs but this year but my main focus is now on exercise. Once I can get consistent with that, we'll see where the scale takes me. For now, I am beyond thrilled and I owe so much of that to my support families of Sparkpeople and Weight Watchers.
