Move It & Lose It =)

I have been heavy all my life. So, I wanted to do something about it! I started a life change back in March 1, 2007 being 305 lbs. and developed some health problems over the years leading up to the "FAT DEMISE". Fatty Liver, High Cholestrol, and Hypertension. I don't have pills for those but I do for Leg Edema which is moderate to severe on any given day. My doctor told me. "You will never be a size "10". I am going to prove him wrong!!!! I quit smoking 4 years ago. That was a piece of cake ...

I quit smoking 4 years ago. That was a piece of cake compared to this. You can't just stop eating cold turkey like I did with smoking for 16 years. I gained 70lbs. of this weight from quitting smoking and smelling and tasting everything I wanted to eat. Gluttony was my excuse to live inside myself for many years and not wanting others to feel the shame I did. NOT ANYMORE!!!


NO MORE EXCUSES! It's healthy to core train everyday. Even if you do the excercises in your bed when you wake up. It's less stress on your back. You have strength inside you and it feels good when everyone else can see it in the way you do :)

The journey is going to be the toughest change I will always have in my life. A winning challenge I know I can make it.

I am transforming into a strong, independent, effective, healthy, energetic, outgoing woman. I am going to be here for my child as long as God allows me.

I want to live for the hell of it and not worry when do I get to eat the next double cheeseburger that could eventually kill me.

My Goals:
I want to feel and look better than ever with incremental weight goals that I can achieve.

Strength train at least 2-3x a week.

Drink More Water!

Think Brown instead of white food :-)

BE MORE CONSTANT.

Walk, Talk, Walk =)

Make more time to better myself.

Be active throughout the day.

Eat a bigger breakfast!
Less at nite.

Steady sleep for at least 7-8 hours every night!

Go from grumpy and frumpy to purty girly =P

My Program:
I am cutting back on carbs, reducing my portions of food, and excercising more. I'm a total carb, chips, sweets addict!!!


Resistance Bands, Walking, Workout or Dancing Dvds, & SPARKPEOPLE is all you need to win!

Love watching the Biggest Loser show. It keeps me a little more motivated each week.

Recommendation:
ALL The Biggest Loser, Belly Dancing, and Resistance band Workout DVDs!!!

Check your local library for any excercise dvds. If they are not there.. they can order them from another location.

Free - Love that word because it has so many different meanings.

Find yours and live it!

Hey sweet friend, how have you been doing!?!

I hope you are having a safe and healthy summer! I wish I had conquered my weight loss with passion when I was young... I hate that I wasted 30 years living ashamed of my body.

I wear a heart-rate monitor in my ZUMBA class and it said I burned 800 calories last night in my 1-hour class. Whoot!

KNOW that you can do this!
KNOW that this is YOUR TIME to become healthy, fit (and envied!)
KNOW that if you really want something you will find a way-- the person who doesn't will find an excuse.

WE CAN DO THIS! WE ARE STRONG!
