Welcome back. I just started paying more attention to my nutrition tracker & fitness tracker recently. Happy to say, I'm finally losing some weight.
I did a really bad job of tracking food when I was training for the NJ marathon & I know I ate too much. I also cut out most of my weight training - pretty much all non-running exercise. I'm doing better now that I'm liftying weights again.
You must be getting excited for race day. Hip-hip-hooray!
I'm still here. Barely use this. Signed on today to see what the deal is. A friend used 3plus2 training program to train for NYC. I think I will try that. It's 3 days running 2 days non-weight bearing cross training.
Welcome to the Road Runners. I read your blog. sounds like you had a pretty fun race earlier this month. Good for you. And I also read that your friend might get a running club up and running. I would love to join one but there is none in my town. In fact other than me, there isn't a lot of runners here. Still I run and enjoy it. I hope to see you on the boards. gail
