Back at it (again).

Hi, I'm Rachel. I started on this journey back in July 2009. I lost about 50 pounds, but during nursing school I gained like crazy due to stress-eating, lack of sleep, and minimal exercise. I feel like a hypocrite and want to set a healthy example for my patients. I also see all of their terrible preventable diseases and don't want to end up like that! I know how to do this, so I'm recommitting and am going to lose these pounds again and then some.

My Goals:
To regain my health and confidence. To reach my goal weight and look fabulous for my sister's wedding in July!

My Program:
Initially I was able to lose purely through self-motivation, pretty consistently tracking my food, and exercising 3-4 days a week. I've really been struggling with motivation and consistency, so here are my updated goals:

- Login daily; earn at least 500 monthly SparkPoints

- Become more involved in the Spark Community. I need teams and challenges to stay motivated!

- Track food EVERY DAY, no matter how ugly it is.

- Use jean/photo progress to measure my level of success, not just the scale.

- Get on a normal workout routine again. This will also help manage my stress.

You're so right. And starting back where we at the beginning isn't ideal, but I'm hoping I learned something the first time around to not let it happen again. Can I ask if you are doing anything differently this time?
