So where's this cabbage bean recipe thing you keep telling me about? Oh and I ate some of the "Salmonella Peanut Butter" thus far, no effects.

BTW: 1 pound of turkey has 450 calories while 1 pound of beef has like 1500. So if you want to pig out on burgers, go for the turkey. Wal-mart has it for cheaper than beef anyways.

Nice to "meet" you on the Fighting Fibromyalgia team, Linda! Your post about quitting your job before being fired brought back memories. I am so relieved to be home now! I was a receptionist at a busy government office.

It can be easier to lose weight at home in some ways because you have the time to prepare lower-calorie dishes that may have been too labour-intensive to do while struggling to keep a job with fibro. The trick is to keep an accurate record of everything you put in your mouth so that you don't "graze" all day. I learned this the hard way, after gaining about 20 pounds when I gave up counting calories and ate whenever I felt like it.
