    Bonnie, we live on the same side.... I'm on Vancouver... in the area behind the Methodist Church....

    I keep losing and gaining the same 15 to 20 lbs every 2 years.

    Hi Bonnie - I had to come over and see your page! This is only my second day on SparkPeople. I just needed to do something to lose this weight.

    My gardens are so dry. The clouds that have given rain to some of Spring Hill, have not felt like dumping on my home! Yikes...

    Hi Bonnie I want to share with you something about motivation. It's all about FOCUS, not to lose track of what it is that you want. Focus and a knowledge that, whatever it is YOU CAN DO IT. Sometimes we have to have a serious chat with ourselves and REALLY work out what's important. I found looking at my eyes in the mirror when talking to myself cuts right to the chase. It's amazing what your eyes reflect, sometimes it has nothing to do with the words you say. When our eyes reflect what we say, then we are speaking our personal thruth.

    So to apply this to your dilemma of exercising: 1) work out what is REALLY stopping you. 2) doing it right after getting up is a good idea, specially at the beginning till your body feels the benefits and then you'll want to do it., it'll become part of your life. Take Mabel with you, she'll love it. Since I've started walking 1 hour everyday, simba goes around with a smile in her face. Love Lulu
