Learning to Live AGAIN!!
I am here to learn to live again. I am tired of being tired of being tired all the time. I am ready to get active and fit. I want to set a good example for my daughter who is following in my foot steps of inactivity, unwise food choices and weight gain. I will be 50 this year and want to enter this mile stone in better health and condition than the past 2 years have been. 1/31/2011 - I have been totally committed to and living the Spark lifestyle for 3 months. I am here to learn to live again. I am tired of being tired of being tired all the time. I am ready to get active and fit. I want to set a good example for my daughter who is following in my foot steps of inactivity, unwise food choices and weight gain. I will be 50 this year and want to enter this mile stone in better health and condition than the past 2 years have been. 1/31/2011 - I have been totally committed to and living the Spark lifestyle for 3 months. I feel better then I have in many years! I exercise daily and am down more than 25 pounds. My back doesn't hurt from the time I get up until the time I go to bed due to a stronger core. I am in clothes that haven't fit in 3 years. I have a much more positive outlook on life these days. I have a long way to go to get to my goal weight but I know I can make it this time. I totally recommend this lifestyle for everyone! 1/1/13 - So ... Here I am, AGAIN. I did really well up to May 2011. For the next 19 months I slid back into old habits and gained back all but 8 pounds of what I previously lost. I have tried several times to get back to Sparking, but have failed. Today I begin again. I signed up for coaching and have reconnected with all my groups. I really want to be around to see all my children married with children of their own. If I don't get back on track, I won't be here. I want to set good examples for my family, especially my daughter who is following in my footsteps of unhealthy living. If I don't change, she won't change. I several friends who have paid a lot of money to do what I can do here for free. The difference being, when they finish their programs, they will likely regain the weight. I don't want that for myself. I want to continue living a healthy life style for the rest of my life. TODAY IS A NEW BEGINNING FOR A NEW ME!

My Goals:
My goals are to get fit and lose a life time of bad habits, be active and set a good example for my 13 year old daughter. I want to improve the quality of my life and to heal my hyatial hernia. I want to cure my sleep apnea and high blood pressure.
My Program:
I try to follow my daily calories to allow 2 pounds of weight be shed. I enjoy the "Biggest Loser" workouts and a walking program as well as my eliptical trainer. I can't say that I enjoy exercise, but am giving it a shot. My son is a big motivator and check in daily to see if I have done my exercise. I really hate to tell him "no" so I just go ahead and do the exercise. I am hoping that it will become a habit.
