Time to update! The best has still yet to come...! I have lived in Asia from 1992 to 2000. Many SP members have asked me where I lived. So, here it is. I lived in Phnom Penh Cambodia. I taught English for 2 years then from July 95 to July 2000 I ran a western restaurant. I have visited most countries in South East Asia. I used to speak very good Khmer, but over time I guess I lost some of it. While living in Cambodia, I use to either swim or run to stay in shape. When I came back home, I was ...
When I came back home, I was happy about my overall health. I was running 5 km 5-6 time a week and I ate well.

So far, so good, I have started to exercise again, and I have maintained my cardio almost everyday in the last 12 days. I am working on my core and upper body every day and my lower body every other day. This is because my cardio involves my lower body a lot.

I have gained my weight back from fall 2007 to August 2008. I saw a picture of me during the holiday where I saw I had the equivalent of a thigh attached to my shoulder!!! That was it! I will clame my regular arms back!

Napoleon Hill said something like: "When you prepare to do something, if it doesn't work, change the plan so it works and you reach your goal".

I'll try just that.

Tuesday october 7: 35 minutes, 2917 jumps

10/25/2008: 35 minutes, 3227 jumps
What a progress! Today I did my longest streak without tripping over: 376!!! I did 60 crunches @ 600 instead of 20 every 200. I think that's why I did so many jumps.

11/03/2008: 30 minutes, 2802 jumps
My longest streak is now 402!

12/30/2008: I haven't jumped in a very long time! Eat a lot, party and drink, short nights....humm! Only for a short time. II got an Iron Man Timex watch for X'mas and I used it for the 1st time today. This is a very cool toy! I am getting used to it and I jumped 15minutes just to give it a try. If it is correct, I am burning a lot more calories than I thought! This is so cool. Gotta to lose what I gain back since the end of november and reach my goal.

01/02/2009: It seems like today was the day I really started again. Did my 30 minutes jumping and I was a little behind my previous average jumps. I did a little over 2500 today. And, according to my heart monitor, I burned 383 calories. I will improve all of this.

03/01/2009: I am in distress!! I just bought a new scale and it happens to be that the one I had since 2001 was off by minus 6!!!! So, I don't weight 121, but 127!!! Aaaaaah! I always took it as a landmark and it was all wrong! It also means that if I want to weigh 105, I'll have to lose 22 more lbs. :( I am further away from my goal than I thought.

My Goals:
My last goal was to jump rope for 30 minutes and jump 2200 jumps. I am glad to say it is done! I now have an average of 3100 jumps or more per 35 minutes. I want to increase my time to 40 minutes on a regular basis and do 3600 jumps, 6 days a week. I am down to 119 and my new target is 110 for december 22. Just in time for the holidays and a tiny tight dress:). My ultimate goal is still 105.

My Program:
I want to keep tracking my food daily. Everyday, work on my core and on my arms to get rid of my "wings"! I jump rope for 30-45 minutes, 6 days a week. Every other day, strenght training to tone on my lower body. Go down by one pound a week or more.

Hey MAAYOTTE. Thanks for stopping by my page and the nice words. It looks like you've led a pretty exciting life. For most people that would be too much pressure to try and tackle losing weight at the same time, but you must be different.
Keep putting one foot in front of the other and you will reach your goals.
