It's Time to find the Healthier ME....
Hi. I am an Aussie who has recently returned back home after living in Egypt for the past 8 years and I am so excited about finding this great site. I am married to my wonderful Egyptian hubby who is totally supportive and is encouraging me to finally do something about my weight. Hi. I am an Aussie who has recently returned back home after living in Egypt for the past 8 years and I am so excited about finding this great site. I am married to my wonderful Egyptian hubby who is totally supportive and is encouraging me to finally do something about my weight. Weight has always been an issue for me and I have had a problem with it for most of my life. Too much yoyo dieting and trying the latest fad of the day (the one that is supposed to do it for me this time) has caused my metabolism to slow down considerably. Living in Egypt wasn't easy either. We didn't have the benefit of the great outdoors like here in Aus. There smog and pollution and the lack of walking facilities made it an added burden to get motivated. I nearly croaked it the other day when I finally had the guts to get on the scale (and actually look at the reading) after months of ignoring the fact that my clothes were getting tighter and tighter again. The weight had all just crept back on over the last 5 years. Of course the blood pressure and cholesterol were high again too. This was my wake up call to actually do it right this time. No more excuses. I am home now and have all the wonderful facilities available to me here that I did not have in Cairo. It's wonderful to find that there is so much help available to me here. I am looking forward to making new friends and to learn from other people's experiences. I hope........noooooo....... I know I will do it this time by doing it the right way. No more dieting just striving to change my way of life so that I can finally live healthier. I would welcome any help and suggestions and THANX for taking the time to learn a bit about me.

My Goals:
I aim to get my blood pressure and cholesterol down. To loose the weight in a nutritious and healthy way. I want to feel good about myself again cos my mood swings affect my way of life and that of my husband. I am just tired of always being tired.
