Thank you for your wise comments on my Peasant to Princess blog. In all the excitement, I rushed to see how far back I could go. When I pick it up again, I will thoroughly research each generation and document each one. I bet I will find more stories that way and who knows, they may be even more interesting than a royal pedigree. Ü
I seen the announcements yesterday that we will have the online sales, but don't really know anything about it yet. We don't have our service unit cookie training till Monday BUT it's at 5pm! I'm in a town 40 miles away at that time - UGH! It's either I don't take my son to his lessons or I wait till Dec 14th to get the training with the new leaders. I just don't know what to think of our Service Unit this year. Brand new SU Director and it has been nuts - she thought she knew it all and basically had the old SUD kicked out and spread awful untrue rumors about her. So I am just doing what I have to do at the SU level and no more. Trying to get new leaders in our small town so they can pick up where my older girls are leaving off in a few years. My troop are sophomores this year and very busy with school and sports, so it's hard to keep going but we are managing somehow. =)
Thanks for the goodie! My second goal from way back in 11/2012 (which sadly is still on my SparkPage since I haven't taken the time to update it) was to focus more on work and work towards getting caught up so that it doesn't stress me out so much. I have a mountain of backlogged work (from even before I started my weight loss journey). But, I think I'm finally ready to tackle this next step.
