I can agree you have a bizzy life. I remember when I worked, I would go to Starbucks before I got home to unwind. It worked for me. The reason I began on SP was because I was a WW for 12 years and got tired of paying the $40 to socialize. Because I knew all there was to know (I knew as much as the leader, and they changed them so often) and they could not teach me anything new. There was one leader that lost a total of 20 lbs, how on earth could she relate to me and I told her that. Not long after that I left with no regrets and someone told me about SP. Same as WW but free and the support was 24/7 not just one day a week, and the weigh ins were taking their toll with me. WW told me I HAD to weight in or leave, well that was my "swan song". I said asta bye bye and never looked back
Sorry to be so long winded. but wanted you to know how I understand. Where do you work?.
We did get stuck in traffic! We went to 4 Winds Casino, it normally takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. It took 3 1/2 hours to get back! I live in the Western suburbs. We were up in New Buffalo for the 4th of July Weekend and it took us 6 hours to get home! 80/94 is horrendous...if it's not major traffic in the summer it's horrible driving conditions in the winter.
I understand what you mean about me time! My mother has cancer and I am her care giver so with that and a full time job not a lot of time for myself (not that I am complaining)...this weekend I went to Michigan (I'm from Chicago) for a get away to celebrate someone's birthday and it was fabulous! Gave me a different perspective at the start of my week. Hope you get some me time soon!
The long weekend in the Wisconsin Dells was great! Feet still aching though from all of the stair climbing at the waterparks. Plus, I got glass in the foot, but that's been removed by a doctor. Now the pain is mostly that I miss the vacation, haha!
