If life is a test...

Hi, I am a pharmacy student, soon-to-be a pharmacist. Pharmacy is a very stressful profession, and over the years, many pharmacists unfortunately become very unhealthy, both physically and emotionally. Now I myself is not 100% healthy even at mid-20s, but I feel that it is a shame not to try something positive. It is much like when I was trying to study for a test in school. I may end up getting a bad grade anyway, but I feel much better if I tried my best to prepare for it, knowing that I will ...

Now I myself is not 100% healthy even at mid-20s, but I feel that it is a shame not to try something positive. It is much like when I was trying to study for a test in school. I may end up getting a bad grade anyway, but I feel much better if I tried my best to prepare for it, knowing that I will walk away with some knowledge in my head. Now life itself is a big test, do you know if you will pass or fail? I just think all of us should learn to enjoy the experience, and to push ourselves no matter what the ends may be...

My Goals:
1) To have inner peace, most important of all
2) Be at least competent at what I do (being a pharmacist), and hopefully feel satisfied with my job
3) Staying healthy. As a healthcare professional, I believe genetics will win in the end (and my genes are not very healthy, mind you). However, I must be responsible for myself before I can take care of others
4) Look good in a T-shirt. If not, please my labs be at least normal, please...

My Program:
1) I have to study hard, my board exam is coming up
2) I will try to meditate each day. I am not even sure if I am doing it right
3) I eat Asian food so it is too difficult for me to keep track of the calories. However, I will try to consume more vegetables and cut back on white rice :)
4) Oh, and for working out... kickboxing aerobics (which is killing my back day to day)
