Hello!! my name is Lindsey, I will turn 30 on March 23. I married my best friend, Ryan, in Las Vegas 9-10-11. We had a blast. In March 2012, we found out I was pregnant and welcomed our first child, a boy named Chase Ryan, into the world. I had started my weight loss journey in 2010 using sparkpeople which I lost 40 pounds. Once summer came along I started getting back into bad habits. I had a lot of stress from school and getting ready for the wedding that I gained 30 pounds back. I started my pregnancy in 2011 at 217. Had to deal with high blood pressure and gestational diabetes through it all. I was able to control the diabetes by diet and because of that I only gained 25 pounds. Once I had Chase, within two weeks I was back to 217. It has been 10 weeks and I am down to 203. So I've dropped close to 40 pounds just by having him and breastfeeding. I am hoping to lose another 40+ by May. I am excited to get back into it. I have signed up for the Gusher 5k in March so I am starting the Couch to 5k to get back into it. I can do this! My son gets me so motivated! I hope one day he will want to run with me :)

    Good for you! It is very difficult to find the energy, it will come! The best advice I got from a friend was "remember everything is a phase".

    Yes, young babies make for a challenge to working out. I have yet to get Zoe on a schedule. I have every workout piece of equipment and dvd, but lack of a consistent nap time makes it hard. Two weeks ago, I signed up for the Y' so I can just have a 1-2 of mommy gym time and she can get some socializing in. The Y does background checks and require CPR for their workers so that makes me feel better. When or are you going back to work?

    I notice my weight loss really slow when I stopped BFing. Good Luck!
