I've been fighting to lose my extra weight for years. I am always successful in losing the weight, but not so much in keeping it off. This has to be the last time I go through this. I need to finally lose the weight and feel good about my body.

Two years ago my husband and I started running races. We ran a half marathon in September 2013 and let ourselves go after that. We are now getting back in shape and signing up for more races.

I can imagine! I have a small family, but Thanksgiving was more about the local friends than having family come to see us. Once every 7-10 years we would have family come though, so that's like never!

Very true. I just ate the rest of the gummies in my half awake/middle of the night stage. At least they're gone. And the cider isn't awful, so that's good. I just ate way too much, but if I take the evens out over the week approach, then I'm good :D I'll be good tomorrow since I'll be out of the flat most of the day. The weekend will be challenging, but I can worry about that on Saturday.

That's one way to view it, but I'm not sure I believe it.

I definitely overate today. It was all good until I made rice-less sushi. Somehow I always end up eating/using way too much humus when I make it (sub hummus for rice!). So I was satisfied with my late lunch/early dinner sushi. But then I had eggplant. Again, no big deal. Just baked eggplant "fries". But I really wanted something sweet, so I had a banana pancake. That made me stuffed, but the sweet tooth was still there. So I went out and bought gummies and cider. Now I feel sick. I should have fought the urge, but it's been a 3 day urge and I simply needed to let go of some control, so I lost control. Tomorrow will be better - although I still have more cider and gummies leftover. I don't even want to think about them right now, I feel disgusting.

The estrogen producing foods are foods I already generally eat! Oh well. I emailed my dr back home and he said that it is acceptable, so... that's that. I don't really have any other choice except to lose weight, so that's the game plan. Failed a little bit tonight, but I finished my dark chocolate, so that's gone and I'm not going to buy more.

Just checking in on you! Haven't heard anything in a while.

So my gym bought this new fancy equipment called "My body". It's pretty much a body composition analysis. It does water weight, muscle weight, skeletal weight, BMI, body fat percentage, ideal weight, etc (and that's just from skimming the poster! There were others as well!). I'm really excited about it and I'm definitely going to get it done. It only costs 10 pounds/$15. But, I'm not happy with what the results are going to be when I get it done, so I just have to decide what would be the right time. Hmm.
