01/30/13 - Hmmm... where do I start? The info below is no longer accurate - 1/2 marathon training got thrown to the back burner while I ran off and got married! I'm getting back to it and my program is now:
Rachel Casgrove's "Female Body Breakthrough" workouts 3x a week, HIIT training (Spark's version) 2x a week, and some long runs on the weekends in preperation for the Hot Chocolate 15k on 3/3.
I am now focusing on firming up and trimming down to get into my size 4's that I bought and are in my closet waiting for me!

08/06/12 - During the last two months I have done a great job maintaining my weight. I am not at the weight that I want to be maintain yet, but I am working on it. As of 08/07/12 I will be training for a half marathon (which one TBD). Moving in the right direction to be a thinner, healthier version of ME!

06/15/12 - I believe the information I entered below is from January 2012. I think it's time for an update! I have worked hard the last six months and have been using SparkPeople religously. This time through I can feel the difference in my emotional state and I know that these will now be lasting changes. I am now making changes that are sustainable for a lifetime, not just the time being. I am now down a total of 30lbs (29 to be exact) and can see so many changes in my body! I still have a long way to go, but I appreciate the journey and experiences so much more this time through. I'm excited to continue this journey and see what else I can learn about myself!

Hello! My name is Jessica, I'm 24 years old and have been trying to lose weight for the last 5 years, somewhat unsuccessfully. At my highest, I was at 170lbs and I have maintained a 20lb weight loss but have had a hard time sticking with it to get these last 20-30lbs off. I have maintained the 20lb loss for a few years but I still feel like I did when I weight 170lbs. I'm ready to get in a better place mentally and physically, and I hope I can keep up my use of SparkPeople, as it has been my most valuable tool all along.

Thanks for the comment on my blog today. It is sooo hard to not eat until stuffed. I didn't realize that would be my biggest hurdle. FYI, I think we were commenting on each others blogs at the same time lol.

You're funny. I have no room to judge...believe me! We just hit a bucket of balls and my first try was a total airball! Missed the whole thing. It is really fun when you hit it right and goes flying though!

Maybe we can get out there and try a little golf sometime. Could always go to the driving range first to work on the swing and then try a small par 3 course. Sure is fun when it's a nice day out!

I don't know why, but I always thought Seattle was a big city!! All I really know of it is that it was the "home" of "Frasier" from the TV series, but now I'm showing my age! emoticon The city can be fun and I guess that's what's so nice about living in CT is that we have everything so close..... the city, the ocean, the country.... whatever we want we don't have to travel that far. I can handle it for a day, but am truly a country girl at heart! Thanks for reading emoticon
