My Goal Before I'm 41...

I'm a military wife...or at least was a military wife...my husband retired about a year ago. We have lived from coast to coast to include a bit in Panama. We decided that San Antonio would be our last stop. I've always been a yo-yo when it came to my weight, but this is the heaviest I've ever been. I actually started a diet quite by accident. I got sick in March and lost 6 pounds in a week. Not the healthiest way to lose weight, but I figured that I shouldn't waste it. Since then, I have ...

My goal is 25 pounds more before my 41st birthday...5 months from now.

My Goals:
My goals...to stop donating clothes that I don't fit anymore. I want to wear them!

To enjoy exercise & working out.

To fit in my favorite little black dress. I love that dress!

To feel comfortable in everything I wear & not changing a dozen times before putting on the same thing I always wear.

To look like a "knockout" for my brother-in-law's wedding & my daughter's high school graduation in 2013.

Personal Information:
I am a military wife that has lived from coast to coast and a little time in Panama. I've been married for 22 years. My husband & I decided that San Antonio, TX would be the place to retire. I have 3 beautiful kids (20, 17, & 12).
I love working on projects around the house. The joke in our household is that mom has the power tools. I even designed & built my daughter's desk from scratch. I enjoy taking pictures, especially of my kids & their life events.

Hello!!! I'm TaMara, one of your many leaders on the SA Team! I'm glad you joined us and if you haven't already, stop by the team page and introduce yourself! I also suggest checking out the meetup thread for our next scheduled get together! It would be a great opportunity for you to meet the team and make some new friends!

I think you'll find that we're a pretty active team and we love to offer support and motivation! So take some time to familiarize yourself with the team page! If you need anything at all, just let me know! Best of luck on your journey!

Welcome! If you need a shoulder, a friend or a virtual coffee at some point, drop by and say hello! I've just celebrated my SP seven month anniversary and am amazed at the absolutely incredible amount of support I've received. This is a fabulous site and you will be astounded at what you get out of it if you give it your all.

To celebrate your arrival at SP this Spring season, I would like to wish you a brand new start, never-ending moments of poise and balance and a joyful tip over on the scale to the side of light. I wish you a new dawn, an eternal youth and a morning star to wish on. Whatever battles you are fighting, whatever stresses may come your way, may they melt away with the winter and may you be granted a time of new light and a new life where your wildest dreams come true. ~ Michelle
