Getting Better Every Day

Hi, I'm Lynn. I'm married and have had 5 children, including a set of twins who really did a number on my belly! I'm also a grandma (can't blame my belly on that one). I had gotten back in shape about 5 years ago, and then broke my foot a year-and-a-half ago. I've been working out steady again for about 6 months, doing the Body for Life. I work a weird shift - usually 7PM - 7AM, but not neccesarily in a row, so that makes keeping on track hard. Plus, I'm driving from site to site and don't have ...

I had gotten back in shape about 5 years ago, and then broke my foot a year-and-a-half ago. I've been working out steady again for about 6 months, doing the Body for Life. I work a weird shift - usually 7PM - 7AM, but not neccesarily in a row, so that makes keeping on track hard. Plus, I'm driving from site to site and don't have access to a refrigerator or even breaks sometimes! That's my biggest challenge. Okay, that's way too much!

My Goals:
I'd like to loose 10 lbs. (but have been stuck here forever).

I just signed up for a 10K in October, and am doing at 5 week to 5K program now.

My Program:
I typically try to eat 6 small meals a day with a meal being one portion of a health protein, and one serving of a healthy carb., plus at least two servings of a veggie. I drink at least 8 glasses of water.

I do 3 or 4 days of cardio and 3 days of weight training.

My program is really close to the Body for Life program.
