Can I get a WOO HOO?!!
My name is Lynn. I live north of Pittsburgh. I've been married to my husband, Ray, for 26 years. We have 3 kids, Raymond, Kevin and Elyse, all in their 20's. Time to update! I still have MS, but I'm doing as well as I can. The early heat this year really got to me so I joined the YMCA so I can work out indoors during the hot months. (We don't have air conditioning.) My DVT (blood clot from groin to ankle) and PE's (pulminary embolisms) are finally gone after ...
My name is Lynn. I live north of Pittsburgh. I've been married to my husband, Ray, for 26 years. We have 3 kids, Raymond, Kevin and Elyse, all in their 20's. Time to update! I still have MS, but I'm doing as well as I can. The early heat this year really got to me so I joined the YMCA so I can work out indoors during the hot months. (We don't have air conditioning.) My DVT (blood clot from groin to ankle) and PE's (pulminary embolisms) are finally gone after 6 long months! No more compression stockings! I'm down 40 pounds since I started. I'm proud to say, no diet, just lifestyle changes. And I love working out again! My sister is my "work out buddy." We have really been motivating each other. She's hooked on Sparkpeople now too! My family is really on board too. The men in the house are now used to turkey burgers and super skim milk:-) My 26 year old son has totally joined me in living the Sparkpeople way! He's already lost 25 pounds! Wish me luck staying relapse free and healthy! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sept. 2009 - I lost 40 lbs., attended the Sparkconvention in Cincinnati & turned 45 all in the same week! The convention was AMAZING!!! I am totally resparked and ready to take the holidays on!

My Goals:
To lose about 50 pounds to put me back to a healthy weight. Keep drinking lots of water for weight loss & migraines. 5-7 servings of fruits/vegetables a day. More yoga. Learn pilates.
My Program:
At least: 8 water 3 dairy 5-7 fruits/veggies per day. Exercise most every day. Cardio, core,upper and lower body strengthening. Love yoga. 12,000 or more steps each day on my pedometer. Love exercise DVD's, Wii exercise games, mini-trampoline and my stability ball at home. Love to go out and power walk/jog, hike & recently started riding my bike again. Recumbent bike, treadmill, elliptical trainer & weight machines at our YMCA. Fell in love with water aerobics there:) Workout, text or call my Sparkbuddy & my baby sis, TEE, to stay accountable every day:D
Personal Information:
Cranberry Township, PA Got the PA colleges covered. Our 3 kids graduated from Penn State, Pitt and Carnegie Mellon. GO STEELERS!!! GO PENS!!! GO PIRATES!!!
Other Information:
Love to read, quilt and work on my gardens. I especially love my roses and deck gardening. Am currently reading Neil Gaiman books. And love all of my Boyd's bears. We recently had 2 cats of my daughter's move in with in her grad school apartment leaving us with only 2 now! Go to lots of car shows because of my husband and son's love of classic cars. We have 3 Nova's in the family... a '73, '75 and '78. The '73 is close to being finished! Woo Hoo!
