Lynn's losing page

I joined spark in June. Now i'm trying to tell more people and create a page to continue what I started on my own. I hear that the more people that know you are trying to lose weight, the better chance you have of actually achieving your goal. I am recently seperated with kids. The exercise is helpful, and I like the endorphin rush I discovered when I first found running this year. I have never run in my life but started in September and can't stop now.

My Goals:
I signed up for my first 10k. Instead of me guessing am I ready, I'm just going to do it!! Ready or not, I want the challenge. March 10th Get Pumped for Pets.

My Program:
I do an hour of cardio 5 days a week. And just added strength training 3 days a week. After I hit the weight loss plateau for a few months, I took up meeting with a personal trainer. I dont eat enough. Imagine that, I put mybody in starvation mode.

Hi Lynn,
Funny I'm facing the same things - been stuck at the same weight for a while even though exercising... and I'd also like to run a 10k (and it's also too cold to run outside in the winter here!). Best of luck with your exercise regime over the winter; I know it's the hardest time of year to keep motivated and active.
