A setback only paves the way for a great comeback!

I am no longer setting time goals for myself. My weight is out of control and yesterday I decided to stop making excuses and do something about it. I'm not overweight because it's in my genes or because my metabolism is too slow. I'm overweight because I don't eat just one cookie, I eat 5 and my idea of working out is seriously below par.
I know how to do this, I've done it before... I will do it again.
I know this website works but I also know that I will need the support of many ...

My Goals:
START: 10/26/09

Final Goal: 125.. whenever I get there! =]



My Program:
I'm starting off my program following the nutrition guidelines and using the tracker on Spark. After I lose 20 - 30 pounds I might start Weight Watchers, just to give my body a different program and hopefully avoid a plateau. But, we shall see when I get there!

As for exercise, I am a Bikram Yoga junkie, seriously, I'm addicted. I'll do this probably 6 times a week, cardio 3x and Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred or a more standard strength training work out 2x a week.

I think we should set a weight lost goal for the month of Feb but remember it is a short one. My goal is 8 lbs for the month.
