In Search of Health and Fitness

Hi, I'm fighting the battle of the bulge here.....I want to lose weight, and decrease or totally obliterate my need for blood pressure medications. I want a strong heart and healthy body as I age. I have also recently started on CPAP for obstructive sleep apnea, which I'm pretty sure would improve when I lose weight.

My Goals:
I want to lose weight an fit into a smaller clothing size.
I want to be able to have a healthier blood pressure, preferably without medication
I want to be able to move and exercise well into my senior years and keep as active as my 80+yr. old Mom!

My Program:
Track food intake
Track water intake
Plan meals ahead
Training at the gym 2x/week with trainer and 2x/week on own.
Ride my bike, snowshoe whatever it takes to get moving.

Personal Information:
Wife, mother of three grown sons, registered nurse, and grandma to a little princess.

Other Information:
I like sewing and quilting and machine embroidery. I really enjoy time spent at our trailer during the camping season and I especially like any time spent with our granddaughter!

Hi! Glad you found the Quilt & Lose team. It's a fun bunch to be around. If you have any questions about the SP site, just ask - it took me quite awhile to become familiar with everything, and I still don't use most of the resources available here. Great site.
